It can be hard work being a Christian at work, yet it’s often where we spend most of our waking hours. The way we act and speak is watched day in and day out by our colleagues and very quickly people see our priorities, our loves and what really makes us tick. Work is one of the main places where you live out your Christian life in front of other people and can kindle their curiosity in Jesus.
We provide Evangelistic Prayer Teams and support Associate Prayer Groups to encourage Christians in being Jesus' witnesses at work.
There is also an Android Prayer Group/EPT app you can use to help record and share prayer points.
EVANGELISTIC PRAYER TEAMS
Evangelism Prayer Teams (EPTs) exist to support Christians in being Jesus’ witnesses at work.
An EPT is made up of 5-7 people meeting for 40 minutes once a fortnight to pray for their own witness at work and for opportunities to share the gospel at work. Because of their size, EPTs are flexible and can occur at any time of the workday, anywhere in the CBD or outside the city. EPTs are also encouraged to set up gospel events for their friends. For instance, holding an informal pub meal after work and inviting a guest speaker.
EPTs are not bible study groups or pastoral groups. They concentrate on growing a passion for those who haven’t had the chance to hear or haven’t understood the great news of Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

If there isn’t one that’s convenient, or if you know enough people, we can help you start a new group. We’ll provide you with training and encouragement to lead, inspire and maintain an EPT.

ASSOCIATE PRAYER GROUPS
Already in a bible study, prayer or other group and be willing to commit to praying for opportunities to share the gospel at work? Then why not become an Associate Prayer Group.
Associate Prayer Groups commit to praying for their colleagues at least once a month or better still fortnightly or more. The format of the remaining group time is whatever you want.
Why become an Associate Prayer Group? Prayer for work and in particular our witness at work can often be forgotten when we meet as Christians. Praying for each other and our colleagues at work is immensely practical and helpful way of supporting each other as Christians and helping to see the Gospel go out.
We can send your group prayer journals, details on our events and training, come visit... whatever's helpful for you.
We'd love to see every Christian worker praying for their workplace so that every worker gets the opportunity to hear the gospel and be saved. Will you join us?

A useful tool for Christians who team up to pray for each other and for their non-Christian contacts. Record prayer notes and track progress in sharing Jesus.
