How to 'place a stone in the shoe' of people we talk with

An international speaker, a full house, great food and hearing great stories of God at work in our city, made our Celebration Dinner a night to remember.

Well known apologist William Lane Craig challenged the crowd at our annual Celebration Dinner to try & 'place a stone in the shoe' of those with whom we end up talking to about God. We can have spiritual conversations that are positive, interesting and challenging at the same time in a relatively short space of time.

Most of us don't have the luxury of an extended discussion in the cloisters of Academia, but we do see people frequently and can have short pithy conversations over a period of time. Bill's idea was helpful in terms of unsettling people's world views or misconceptions a little bit at a time. Sometimes it's as simple as asking the question: " What are your reasons for being an atheist ?", rather than always being on the back foot, defending why you are a Christian. Watch the video below of William Lane Craig inspiring Christians to be equipped to have better conversations about God.
