Christendom is fading away - so what?

What are the implications of being a post-Christian culture?

For centuries, the Western world has assumed Christendom. Why is this fading away? What are the implications for Christians in the 21st century? The book of Daniel in the Old Testament has much wisdom on this issue and a proper understanding of the effects of Christendom may change our attitude to its disappearance.
