City Legal is a high-quality monthly speaking series exploring intersections between the law and life in contemporary Australian society. The series is being organised by the City Bible Forum and the Christian Lawyers Society.
Our guest speaker is Professor Nicholas Aroney. Nicholas is Professor of Constitutional Law at The University of Queensland, and he will be giving a talk entitled Some second thoughts about the Religious Discrimination Bill. A draft copy of the bill can be viewed on the Attorney General's website. Nicholas has also written two recent papers on this topic and they are available to read here (the second one is hot off the press!): Paper 1 and Paper 2.
$10 for a light breakfast, tea and coffee served.
Please register by Tuesday 1 October.
