Australians will gather on Monday 28th November to pray for our leaders and for the wellbeing of all people throughout this great land.
For many Australians these past three years have presented profound challenges and we wish to pray for God's blessing on every aspect of Australian life. When we pray to our Heavenly Father we are reminded of our own frailties and need for forgiveness, His sovereign grace and of the solemn responsibility of using power for the benefit of others.
We will again be privileged to hear messages from national dignitaries, Members of Parliament, Senators and other civic leaders, as well as our guest speaker, Peter Gibbs (bio below), who will be sharing how God has been at work in his life including through his experience of growing up on a mission, poverty struggles and the death of his sister in police custody.
We will uphold in prayer all our leaders in their demanding roles of service for the common good of our nation and all her diverse communities. We will pray that men and women in public service will discover a new strength through the friendship and care of the followers of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that they will know God's wisdom and strength in all their work.
We really encourage you to join us for what will be a memorable experience gathering in the Father's name across our great nation.
You can register to attend in person or via livestream.
