About the conference | City Bible Forum

After the success of Conference 2021, we’re thrilled to be bringing you Conference 2022 again fully online (and fully live). And again we’re hoping you can be part of a Watch Party near you - either in your home or local church.

Here’s what’s in store:

“I am prepared to contend that the primary location for spiritual formation is the workplace” (Eugene Peterson)

Rarely a day goes by without work having its challenges. Colleagues who test our patience. Roadblocks that frustrate our work. That awkward conversation that puts us on the spot about our Christian faith.

But what if these challenges were actually for our good? That they were a key instrument God uses to make us more like His Son.

Often we think God does His work of refining us in the church. Or maybe in our homes. Or with our families. Of course He uses all these places and people. But could it be that we’ve overlooked one of the key places He does this - our daily work.

It is during the daily grind that we are commonly challenged, stretched, and put in situations where we need to trust God. Where courage needs to be found to share our faith. Where we feel like we’re in the furnace.

Join us at Life@Work Conference 2022 as we enter the workplace furnace and discover the joy of being there, and how we might flourish in the challenges of daily work, with the hope of becoming more like our Saviour Jesus.

In 2022, we’re thrilled to be joined by Keynote presenters Amy Brown (CEO, Investment NSW) and Professor Nathan Grills (Public Health Physician), with Bible teaching from Rev Dr Michael Jensen and Andrew Laird. Plus we’ll be joined by other workers throughout the day from a variety of fields to help us explore how God has used the daily grind to shape and refine them. Check out our program.
