As a Christian worker, we must know how to handle failure in the workplace. No worker starts with the goal to fail, so failure often enters as an abrupt surprise. The more abrupt, the higher the shock and when the failure is communicated through negative feedback, it can feel personal. We can feel attacked and sometimes, the negative feedback isn't just from our manager, it can come from ourselves. We can cut ourselves down.

So how can Christians be prepared for this surprise? What work can we do now so our reflex response isn't fight or flight but reflects our faith in Jesus?
