Exciting changes for City Bible Forum and Third Space

In effect from Monday 2nd August

City Bible Forum creates the spaces and opportunities in the workplace to ask the bigger questions about life, faith and culture. In doing so, our hope is to have as few barriers as possible for people to hear and consider the message of Jesus. Third Space was launched as an innovative venture by City Bible Forum in 2019 to create safe spaces for people to reflect and have intelligent conversations about God.

A review of our communication and branding has recently been completed and we are introducing changes on Monday 2nd August that we believe remove some potential barriers.

We have two distinct purposes; 1. to help Christians grow in their faith, and 2. to introduce others to the God of the Bible. Sometimes our efforts to achieve one purpose can impede the other. To this end, we have decided to reorganise our offerings under two separate brands and two separate websites. From next week onward, the following changes will take effect:

City Bible Forum will henceforth be the primary resource for Christians wanting to live their faith. It will offer networks for Christians, training in character, courage, competency and conviction, resources to support disciple-making and outreach. It will include the activities: HeadStart, Evangelistic Prayer Teams, the Life@Work Conference and courses.

Third Space will henceforth be the primary resource for those investigating Jesus. It will offer networks that are enquirer friendly, outreach events and resources to introduce people to the God of the Bible. It will include the activities; Bigger Questions, Reel Dialogue, The Smith Lecture and The Edge. It will also include the networks; City Legal, Men’s Fellowships, Fellowship Beyond Numbers, Transition Group, InHouse, Reframe and the new Mandarin speakers group.

We understand these changes will take a little getting used to but our team is available to ensure you can access the information and resources you’re looking for. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you need assistance.
