What would Jesus say to…the High Achiever?
Know any ‘high achievers’ out there? Or would others say you fit this description – on your good days? Bonhoeffer famously wondered in his ‘prison poem’ how he was viewed: “Who am I? They often tell me I stepped from my cell’s confinement calmly, cheerfully, firmly, like a Squire from his country house.” If you see yourself this way, what would Jesus say to you? Dr Sam Chan began our series on ‘What would Jesus say to…’ in fine style and returns to consider Jesus’ word to the ‘high achiever’.
