What would Jesus say to the high achiever?
It might seem arrogant to think of yourself as a high achiever but we live in a culture that values achievement and many of us have an achievement based mindset, holding tightly to our own list of achievements.
Our offices tend to be places where the significance of our achievements defines us and is integral to our advancement. What is a resume but a list of achievements that we use to help us climb another rung to a more significant job?
But can you ever achieve enough?
Sam Chan helps us consider what Jesus said to a man who seemed to have it all and the freedom that comes from a life that isn't driven by achievement.
