The Bold Prediction

Jesus once made a very bold prediction.

He predicted that the kingdom of God—belief about Him—would grow from a tiny size (like a mustard seed) to become massive (like the largest of all garden plants) with such big branches that birds can perch in its shade.

This was bold because early Christian church was very small, with only a handful of people believing in Jesus.

It would have been embarrassing if Jesus had made this prediction and the movement just...petered out. Yet, now some 2000 years later, the kingdom of God—the message of Jesus—is believed by millions of people right around the world. Christianity has been described as the most diverse sociological phenomenon the world has ever seen.

It seems that this bold prediction came true, so maybe the person making the prediction knew what might happen.
