How many screens is too many?

I found myself with more screens than eyeballs the other day. The TV was on, I was scrolling on my phone, and had my laptop balanced on the couch next to me.

Despite all of these portals of information and connection, I felt deeply isolated.

The Bible is not a rulebook, but it does contain rich wisdom:

God's good design means that being human is to live within limits.

There is a limit to how many things I can focus on at a time. Recognising my limits helps me to prioritise the things in life that matter most.

Jesus says:

"Come to me, all who are weary, and I will give them rest."

As I slowly close my screens and honour the task before me, I pray that God will help me to flourish within my limits.
