Why Are My Vegetables Still in the Microwave?

The Benefits of Bad Memory
Topics

In the morning, when I open the microwave, I will find last night's vegetables. I reheated them, but forgot to take them out.

They've been sitting in the microwave all night.

Or, I will find the same cup of coffee that I've reheated many times. I keep forgetting to take it out of the microwave, so I have to reheat the same cup over and over again.

But it's not just me that has a bad memory.

The Bible says that God also has a bad memory—because of what Jesus has done for us, if we belong to Jesus,

God won't remember any of our secrets, shame, regrets, guilt or sin.

It's as if God puts all our shame into my microwave and forgets it even happened. Just like last night's vegetables and cups and of coffee.
