Establishing Introducing workers to the fellowship of believers and encouraging their regular commitment to a local gathering
Mobilising Increasing the number of active believers who participate in workplace evangelism and who provide financially for the work
Equipping Improving the effectiveness of believers in evangelising and discipling their fellow workers

History

The City Bible Forum is a Christian ministry organisation that has been serving the business community since 1991.

The City Bible Forum is incorporated as Evangelizing Commerce Incorporated (ARBN 105 231 089) under the NSW Associations Incorporation Act 1984. For many years we were known as "Ecom".

In 2001 we started holding our first City Bible Forum meetings. These were immediately successful, and this led to some confusion. Some people referred to us as "the City Bible Forum" and others called our meetings "Ecom". Still others were surprised to discover that the City Bible Forum was an activity of Ecom.

So, in 2008 we've decided to start calling ourselves the City Bible Forum, to help people understand who we are and what we do.
