Brisbane staff

David Pitt

David is the Brisbane Director and started with the City Bible Forum in 2018. He has a degree in IT and worked for Hewlett-Packard in Brisbane before retraining to tell University students about Jesus, which he did at the University of Queensland for 9 years. He looks forward to speaking about Jesus in the city.

He's getting used to dressing like a city worker but the coffee intake is about the same. He likes running (when his back isn't playing up) and chucking stuff out! He's married to Tanya and they have 3 children.

Please contact David about Christianity or connecting with other Christians in the city.

Scott Pasley

Scott Pasley is married to the lovely Deb and has three lively children. Scott loves to see Christians grow in their confidence in Jesus and clarity about what it looks like to follow him in the working world. He has worked as an engineer in construction, in utilities, and in allied primary industries.

Scott enjoys cycling to work and loves to conquer the world through board games. He also would like the St George Dragons to win another premiership before he passes from this world.

Contact him to find out more about the City Bible Forum's prayer teams and city network.

Sue Cosijn

Sue is the Administrator and Events Coordinator in Brisbane. She spent 9 years in London working as an IT manager and programmer before moving to Brisbane in 2005 to church plant.

Sue worked as a church treasurer and administrator before joining the City Bible Forum team in 2013. She is married to Craig and they have two teenage children.

Contact Sue with your event or general enquiries.

Gemma Cardew

Gemma grew up in Sydney but was glad to leave the crazy pace of life down there to live in country NSW for a while. Love for Jesus and being trained to teach others sent her back to Sydney for 3 years at Moore College before being coaxed across the border to Brisbane. In her spare time Gemma loves spending time with friends, drinking good coffee, playing with kids and when given the chance, historic car racing with her Dad.

God has promised to give us a home with true rest. Gemma wants more city women to know this true rest, to know Jesus and what he's done for us.

Derek McComber

Derek has a background in Finance but now meets with people across the city in various prayer teams and co-ordinates the Business Leader Breakfasts.
