When it comes to environmental issues, the Bible’s claim that humanity has Dominion over the Earth seems to endorse a greedy, destructive and exploitative attitude to the world around us and suggests that the Bible should be ignored.

However, Aaron Johnstone thinks that this is a superficial reading of what the Bible teaches. This week at Bible Shots Aaron will help us see that, when it comes to the environment, the Bible has more to say and that the gospel might offer a more surprising and beautiful perspective than you had previously considered.

    Aaron listened to with interest.But when you say that poeople who are still learning about climate change you need also to recognise that the science is still not settled.many scientists challenge some of the extreme positions you refer to. For instance it is not agreed that we are having more extremee events and at a greater frequency.
