Four-day Work Week

New things grab our attention
Topics

There's lots of talk at the moment about workplaces moving to a four-day working week. We're exhausted and busy, so perhaps four days is the solution?

The theory goes we'll be more productive on those four days if we are actually well-rested in between.

Now, there's a lot of truth to that. We function so much more effectively when're feeling fresh and rejuvenated. But I do wonder if an extra day off will really solve all our tiredness and busyness.

Is there any solution to our constant, restless striving for more?

Enter Jesus and these life-giving words:

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Jesus offers the kind of rest our bodies and souls desperately need.

Want relief from your exhaustion? Why not consider the rest Jesus offers?
