Associate Professor Yaw Chin is a Radiation Oncologist with more than 15 years’ experience in cancer treatment and research. He graduated from the University of NSW in 1997 and became a Fellow in Radiation Oncology in 2004. Awarded the Windeyer Fellowship by RANZCR, he completed specialist training in prostate brachytherapy at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in London. Returning to Sydney in 2006, he joined St George Hospital as a Staff Specialist and has since played key leadership roles in education and training. A/Prof. Chin is widely published, with research interests in breast cancer, early lung cancer, and communication skills in oncology. He joined GenesisCare Hurstville in 2015.
