We are very pleased to announce our next Bridge Fellowship speaker, Professor Ian Harper.

Ian is one of Australia's most respected economists, known for bridging academic insight with practical economic policy. He has served on the Reserve Bank of Australia Board since 2016, following senior roles with Deloitte, the Australian Fair Pay Commission, and the Victorian State Finance Review. A gifted communicator, Ian has helped shape public discourse on competition, regulation, and fiscal policy. His books, Economics for Life and Confessions of a Meddlesome Economist, reflect his accessible style and depth of knowledge. As former Dean of the Melbourne Business School, he retired in 2023 and was named Professor Emeritus. Recognised as an Officer in the Order of Australia in 2020, Ian continues to influence Australian economic thought and public policy through scholarship and leadership.

Please join the Zoom session for a 7:30am AEST start.

In Sydney you may join in-person in the PEP board room from 7am; enjoy a light breakfast and watch our interview with Ian together.
