Sharing the gospel in the public service can feel complex.

Questions around professionalism and boundaries often leave people unsure how faith can be expressed at work.

Join Sam Yip, an experienced prison chaplain, as he shares practical insights on living out and sharing the gospel in public service settings. Drawing on years of pastoral care in highly regulated environments, Sam will explore how faith can be expressed through everyday interactions, ethical leadership, and genuine care for colleagues - grounded in grace, humility, and service.

This is an in person only event held over a light lunch in Town Hall (231 Elizabeth St).

1. Arrive by 12:00pm to 231 Elizabeth St Sydney.
2. Upon arrival, check in at the Concierge desk on the Ground floor to receive your visitors pass.
3. Call Clement Siu on 0429 618 138 to be escorted from the Concierge desk to the Level 13 meeting room.

Sam is a chaplain at the Parklea Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre (CDTCC), a unique facility for people sentenced by the NSW Drug Court. He supports people with long histories of addition and offending towards recovery and reintegration in a structured, therapeutic program. Sam previously worked in marketing roles with Sony Pictures and DXC Technology, and as a chaplain with NSW Ambulance and Wesley Mission. He is passionate about seeing lives rebuilt and future reimagined.
